Nino Bocchino

Born in Naples Italy, and immigrated to Australia in 1969.

I am a motor mechanic by trade, specialising in Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes, BMW and Fiat.
In my younger days I began working in a Ferrari workshop and now own my own motor
mechanic workshop, Bocchino Motors in Hobart. I am also a test driver of high performance vehicles.

I have been involved in motor racing for approximately 20 years and began racing Formula
Vee's 8 years ago.  In my first year of racing (2001) I placed 3rd in the state championship,
2nd in 2002 and also placing 2nd in 2003.

I am looking forward to this year 2009 and hope it will be a good one as I love a challenge and
competing. I have had a few set backs with my car in the past but everything is going well at
the moment.

My F-Vee Ferrari is very fast on the Simmons Plains track and I hold the current lap record for F-Vee's at Symmons Plains with a time of  1:12.2863
